No. Would have been useful to have foot markers especially as I was pulling the cable alone.

Can anyone tell me the total thickness of the cable with the jacket? I would like to know what size conduit I need to run multiple cables.

BEST ANSWER: The nominal OD is 8mm (0.310 in). I will measure to verify this evening. I have not run any cable yet, but it is also is very stiff. I would make sure you have plenty of radius in your bends. Plan your routing with that in mind. Looks to be very good quality cable. I will leave another comment once I start running cable.

It seems to range between 7.2mm and 7.5mm, nominal is probably around 7.3mm.

Where may I obtain a manufacturer's spec/data sheet for this Monoprice Cat6A 18592 cable? I need to review the full technical specifications and the cable's listings, if any. Are there any markings on the cable's jacket? If the cable does not have any markings then it is most certainly not NEC code compliant. The cable must be listed and marked to be used in a NEC code compliant installation. Please advise. Thank you.

BEST ANSWER: I just checked the cable I purchased and it's UL listed and ROHS Compliant but makes no mention of NEC compliance on the cable itself. Doesn't mean it isn't, just not listed among the other tech data on the cable itself.

I don't know where you can get the data sheet? I assume you could call Monoprice? The cable itself is marked every foot.

What is the voltage rating on this cable? We will be doing some POE. What is the temperature rating on it? 70 C, 75 C?

BEST ANSWER: The cable itself doesn't have much listed about it outside of their website description, the cable itself has absolutely no markings on it, just like the listing says by "No Logo".
Because it has a CMR rated insulation, it "should" be rated to 300V and 75 C. I honestly believe it is, this is some of the beefiest cable I have ever worked with. I've used this in a few different installs with different equipment and you can just barely get it to bend into the UniFi AP's.
Almost all of my runs are using PoE+ at 48v, varying in length from 50ft to 250ft.

What keystones, connectors, punch down and other tools, etc should be used with this cable? Saw a lot of issues due to the think wire.

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
Any of the Cat 6a connectors or keystones would with this item.
Other than #24512 or #24506 and its other colored versions you would get a good connection to the cable and your keystones if you have more than one keystone in a wall plate.

I am looking for several items that will fit this product and if someone can guide me to the correct item number for the following:
1) cat6A keystone jack- punch down not the tool less kind.
2) wall plate that has two keystone jacks
3) A punch down patch panel with 24 slots. I'm not sure if this cable is too thick to fit a patch panel?
4) RJ45 pass through? gold plate? not sure if i need it to be shielded?
Just a small backdrop for some advice: i am currently remodeling my residential home and I'm trying to run cables throughout the entire house. I do have 1 gigabit speed at the moment. Is installing cat6A overkill? I am planning to install POE camera around the property. i know cat6 can do the job as well but i would rather pay a little more for cat6A to future proof. what are your thoughts? I believe that the longest cable ill be running is 100ft or slighting more
