I noticed that the orange and orange-white pairs are twisted at a tighter configuration than the other wires. Is there a reason for this? And as a result, would it be preferred to wire this for 568A or 568B configuration.

BEST ANSWER: Pairs are twisted with a different twist rate to help avoid interference from adjacent pairs, this is why each of two pairs have the same twist rate.

Good day. No, it does not matter how tight or loose the wires are twisted as you will need to untwist them anyway in order to terminate the ends. Either 568a or 568b is fine, doesnt matter which one you use as long as the entire environment you're in (home or business network) uses the same configuration throughout. I personally used 568b to wire my house as thats the most widely used method in the industry.

Can I use it to connect my tv with a hdmi to cat6 extender?
A shopper
on Oct 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Any cat6 should be compatible with hdmi extenders. This is a thick, rigid cable, very good. But if you fish cable through your walls, I recommend a more flexible cat6.

Good product, works as advertised. It's good CAT6, CMR at 500 feet, and a great price. Would recommend.

Easy Install, Good price, Works great!
I bought everything to run some Ethernet from the garage to my media center, this cable was one of those items. It easily pulled from the box, and I was able to route it ~50 feet from the garage into the house. After everything was said and done, I am getting ~1GBPS up and down with my new fiber internet (the bottleneck is most likely my router, but have not tested another yet). I still have 400+ feet of cable to run more, while the cable + tools came out to be less than 50% of the cost to get an electrician to run 1 drop ... Would buy again and highly recommend at this price point.

Great cable
Great cable. Easy enough to bend. Strong enough to hold up to cable staples. Wires are a tiny bit stiff, but I'm picky.

Good cable for multiple cable run pulls
Currently in installation mode. Cable is easy to pull in groups, far less stiff than cables I've pulled in previous years from other sources.

Excellent Cat6 bulk cable in white
Exactly as described and pictured. Heavier and stiffer than Cat5e cable from the big box store. Good for point to point connections. Not the best choice for patch cables where flexibility is important. Overall quality appears to be top notch. Markings are clear, and the number of feet remaining is printed every foot. The dispenser on the box had come apart, but I was able to put it back together, and the wire dispensed well.
