Please clarify. There is one review/question saying that these work with RG6 cable and one say they do not. I'm looking at these connectors (9910) and cable 15400. are those compatible?

Monoprice [10pcs] Male BNC Compression Connector for RG-59

Monoprice 500ft RG6 Quad Shield Coax Cable, PVC ETL, White CM/CL2
BEST ANSWER: The diameter of RG6 & RG59 are different sizes so it is almost impossible to force the larger size cabler into the smaller one and hard to get a firm crimp on the smaller one in the larger connector

No they are not! The BNC connectors are used with video cable RG59 for uses with CCTV etc. The RG6u is primarily used for TV signal distribution such as off air TV antennas or from satillite dish to receiver

I’ve use these connectors with RG6 cable and they work just fine, just make sure you adjust correctly your compression tool.

They are NOT compatible. You can only use those connectors with RG-59 cable, which is smaller than RG-6.

Not the easiest connectors to use.
The 10 Male BNC Compression connectors for RG-59 that I ordered were less than stellar. I found no information of the Monoprice web site for installing these connectors. I used the typical stripping lengths (1/4 / 1/4) and attemted to install the connectors with no success. I used a small screwdriver to probe the depth that the coax inner insulator must reach to fully seat and found that I was not fully seating the cable. If you fully seat the coax into the connectors - and that takes a lot of force - then the connectors work. There are other brands on the market that are more expensive, but much easier to assemble. I will be ordering a box of 35 of those in the near future. Note that you can pull the back off the connector before compressing - be sure to keep track of the small plastic sleve inside the back of the connector. Slide the back of the connector and sleve onto your coax before stripping. You can then verify the coax is seated, reassemble the parts, and compress.

Fussy but worked
Probably user error, but I found these to be more trouble than expected. Could not compress them properly and had to discard over 20% of them (i bought 30).

Not for RG6 cable
They are not working with RG6 cable. Cable is too thick. I purchased 16189 Viper Series HD-SDI RG6 BNC Cable, 100ft , had to cut one end to slide through small hole and now trying to find right connector, looks like its not available on Monoprice. Can't blame the connector though.

Not good quality
I should have listened to Chris H's review because the same exact thing happened to me.
I'm installing my security system so I bought a Klein compression tool. I've not had 1 connector yet that worked well. 3 have been bent so badly that I couldn't connect them to teh camera, one was defective and 2 have worked kind of but were still bent slightly in teh tool.
I'm buying other brand compression connectors in hopes they will actually work as expected.
Don't waste your money on these.
PROS: Cheap (price)
CONS: Cheap (quality)

Not very Good.
Bought these for a job. But the interior ring at the back of the outside sprigged holder. Collapses easily. Went through a bunch of duds. Will likely not purchase again. ALSO: Theses will NOT work with the yellow compression tool(7050) they are too tall to fit in the tool.
PROS: Cheap Compression Connector
CONS: Spring Ring somtimes collapes when in tool.

Dont bother
These pieces truly are terrible. I wanted to give these a try because they were cheap. But this goes to show you truly get what you pay for. I tried to use them with 2 different compression tools, a Klein Tools compression tool, and a different name brand compression tool. Each fitting would not fit properly around the center post, and when you try crimping it, it would bend or break the inner ring. I tried an entire package and each time the same result. They wouldn't even fit in the other tool as they were too long.
PROS: None
Cheap
CONS: Cheap
Will not work with standard compression tools
