What's the difference between this cable and the FLEXboot series cable? Are they the same spec wise? I notice there is a slight difference in the connector.
Monoprice Cat6 100ft Gray Patch Cable, UTP, 24AWG, 550MHz, Pure Bare Copper, Snagless RJ45, Flexboot Series Ethernet Cable
Monoprice Cat6 100ft White Patch Cable, UTP, 24AWG, 550MHz, Pure Bare Copper, Snagless RJ45, Fullboot Series Ethernet Cable
Monoprice Cat6 100ft White Patch Cable, UTP, 24AWG, 550MHz, Pure Bare Copper, Snagless RJ45, Flexboot Series Ethernet Cable
BEST ANSWER:You can move the plastic flap over cable connector release for the flexboot while flap for snagless is fixed and harder to release cable connector from the socket

I bought this in 2ft and 100ft with some keystone jacks and cable ties. I received it with no damages and with some candies too! I am impressed by the quality of these products and I can say it looks very durable. Given the price, I don't think I will need to look further than Monoprice in future for cabling needs. My local hardware stores had the same things for double, if not more, the price this website offers. I have a gigabit connection and I couldn't get full speed with wifi extender so I did some internal wiring in my house to setup another access point. It was really easy given it was my first time. I had to cut the ends since I wanted to attach it to punch down keystone jack. I tried punching the cable in keystone jack with the back of my utility knife blade and it worked great. My only complaint is the horribly slow FedEx this company uses. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars not 5. Since I paid for shipping, I was expecting fast and expedited delivery but it took over two weeks for the items to be delivered. On top of that, expected delivery time increased by 4-5 days even after the items were shipped. If you are confused about choosing cable and if you are patient, look nowhere else
The connection I needed called for a Cat5 cable but since Monoprice was out of the length I wanted, I ordered a Cat6 cable which worked just fine.I might add that when I called customer service just prior to placing this order to ask if the Cat6 was compatible with a Cat5 application, I received a vague ("I'm not really sure") answer.
I always buy my cables from monoprice for networking and A/V. I've never had a problem with quality or durability. This 100' cat6 cable is no different. I needed it for a sPOE camera security system I'm using at my studio. It works fantastic.
My apartment is riddled with wireless interference, and this cable is perfect. I could barely stay connected wirelessly, but this cable transmits speeds higher than the ISP even promised. The latency and signal quality are fantastic too, now my computer is the ideal host for any online game with friends.
