This is a good-quality cable, it's well-built and feels durable and it worked great for my phone system.

Monoprice sells wonderful cables for excellent prices. But in this case, we measured the wires and tested resistance and according to what we found, these cables do not appear to be 26AWG. The physical size appears to be smaller than 26AWG and the resistance seems to be significantly higher than one would expect to find in a 26AWG cable.



Monoprice, please let us know if another 25' straight through cable becomes available that is of a heavier gauge. We would be interested in purchasing them in quantity (even bulk).

Over the past few years I have purchase cables of all types from Monoprice. I have found the quality of their products to be excellent and prices unrivaled. I believe the major difference between their $3 HDMI cable and Best Buys $50 HDMI cable is $47.
