I ordered this after my printer started giving a "bad drum unit" error. Was very pleased to find this part at such a reasonable price (even Amazon's is too high). It arrived quickly and well-packaged.



Unfortunately, the drum unit was not the problem. The printer had truly fried. So I RMAed this part, since I did not need it. Monoprice took the part back, no problem. I hope by now someone else is making good use of it in their printer.

PROS: It fit my old Brother HL-1440 at a fraction of the retail cost.

CONS: Didn't get a chance to use itthe printer was the problem!

I was hesitant to buy a non-OEM drum since many remanufactured ones aren't so great, but was happy to see that this one was within the quality expectations of a Monoprice product! Very happy with the output quality and price!

Replaced my OEM Brother drum unit with the Monoprice version. It looks identical and performs the same as the original. Installation was simple too.

PROS: Form, fit, and function the same as the original Brother drum unit.

CONS: None to date.

A great remanufactured product. Worked like a charm and even included installation instructions. Why go OEM on a replacement drum?
