Great price

Not all cables are created equally, but in general, one vendor's bare copper bulk cable is approximately comparable to any other vendor's bulk cable. What usually makes our buying decision-- all else being equal-- is price. Monoprice had a very good deal on this 1000 ft. spool. Just that simple. Price drew us here years ago, and the combination of good prices and good products keeps us coming back.

The product is good.

Price was right and cable seems perfect once you're able to easily pull it from the box. However this was packaged the cable was knotted up in a few spots so you had to keep opening the box up to untangle to pull and it made the networking job much more difficult than it had to be. I've pulled a lot of network cable and this was a first this has happened. We bought two so we could pull two lines at same time to each location, so much for planning ahead. May purchase cable elsewhere for higher price to save on the nuisance of knots.

Pros: Easy to work with, reliable, cost effective, received quickly



Cons: Occasional snags in the box

One of the best cat5e cables I have worked with, does not get tangled easily, flexible, delivers excellent data transmission.
