...what's not to like. The cables I ordered tested perfectly with one of my external hard drive enclosures, the cables are a good length without being too long, and they seem pretty solid with a positive feel when they are connected. If I need more, I'll just come back here to get them.

I needed a cable to connect my hard drive to my NAS for fast transfers. This cable was reasonably priced and works. It feels solid and hadn't made me regret my decision to buy it.

We ordered a batch of 5 of these cables because we need the 6ft length. We have tried every cable in the batch and none of them work. Not sure what is different with this cable for our 3ft cables that are shipped with our hardware.

This online retailer had exactly what I needed at an affordable price.

Basic esata cable to read external drives. No problems.

PROS: Basic cables needed.

I'm using this on an external HD cabinet. This is the second cable, RMA'd the first one that was defective. Support was great in doing the RMA. First cable just wouldn't let me read a directory, let alone copy data. The connectors on this one are solid.

Dropped 1 point just due to the RMA.

PROS: Works great. Initial testing was showing 120meg transfer rate. Nice and solid round cable.

After one replacement decided not to bother although I'm sure Monoprice would have replaced it again. Went back to my shorter cable which works 100% of the time.

Would not buy!

Generally have good experiences with Monoprice cables and Monoprice service is good.

Bought a similar cable through Amazon and it works fine although I paid a bit more.

Just don't recommend this cable.

PROS: Was inexpensive and delivered on time.



Replacement was fast.

CONS: Did not work. Put Windows 8.1 in continuous error.

Received replacement quickly (thank you Monoprice) but it did not work either. Actually did work once or twice but 99% of the times I tried it,it did not work.
