BEST ANSWER: Yes, our 3' 12AWG cable will handle 1000's of watts. Check your SWR manuals to be sure the NL4 pins are wired 1+/1-. the 2+/2- connectors are not used in this product.

You'll likely have no troubles with such a short run and large awg. I implement about a 6awg on my subs for the long supply run but use a 12awg jumper between cabinets. (four subs). Go to this site to bone up on the importance of and how to best choose wire size. I can't supply the link but the name is: Speaker Cable Gauge (AWG) Guidelines & Recommendations by Audioholics.

Yes, but I'd personally go a bit longer, like 5. I prefer not to have any tension on the cable when plugged in.

Says "NL4" but also says 2 conductor. So which is it? Are these two or four conductor? NL2=2, NL4=4 I need to use +1 & +2 for bridge mode.

BEST ANSWER: These cables use the standard NL4 connector. This is a 4-pole connector that can be used to connect 2 amplifier channels through 1 x 4-pole cable. Most users only need to use 2-pole connectors for use with single full range speakers. We use a 2-conductor cable to keep the price down so you do not pay for something you do not need.
Take a look at our new Choice series NL4 speaker cables. These use 4-conductor cable for bi-amping and dual speaker runs.

Monoprice Choice Series NL4FC Speaker Cable with Four 12 AWG Conductors, 6ft
Yes, I meant to be questioning the assurance of "4-pole" being available. I said "conductor" and meant to say connectors or poles to be more accurate. I have some of these I bought a while back and wanted to make certain Monoprice hadn't changed something. If you know how to close this question please do so.

NL4 means the connector is set up for two pairs of wires. The two conductor part means that is has two wires in the cable. They are wired to pin 1+ and Pin 1-. Most the time users are just running a single speaker cabinet with this set up. There are times when users want to run two different signals and only want to run one wire. In that case, the actual wire would have 4 conductors. The second pair would be hooked up to Pin 2+ and Pin 2-. This is commonly done if your are biamping a speaker with a channel for bass and the other channel for the full range part of the speaker. In your case, you are going to have to modify the wiring of the cable. On the amp end of the cable, you are going to need to open up the connector and move the wire from Pin 1- and move it to Pin 2+. Not seeing your amp, I'm 99% sure this is what you are asking.. The end your modify will only work if it is plugged into the amp and not the speaker.

You are right and I mis-typed my question. I meant to be assured these are still a true NL4-four pole unit. Indeed, yes, I only need to switch the negative leg on one end to 2+ so I can bridge. I said "conductor" which was wrong. This is what happens when you are writing questions about electronics while cleaning up after the dog and working on a Fordson tractor while hoping the Silver Patron will be a hit at the party. I want to end this question if you know how.
These are 2 conductor that fit a 4 pole socket. There is a different cable that is 4 conductor.

Works like it's supposed to. The cable uses neutik clones for connectors.. but for the price it's just fine.

Value for money
People complain about the quality of the connectors. You can't buy one twist connector for the price of this cable. The cable is heavy duty and the connectors work. They take a bit of fiddling to get them to lock every time but at this price point what do you expect. Overall they do a good job.
