How long does it take for the screen to come completely down/up? With the remote Can you stop the amount it opens/closes, or does it have to be completely open or completely closed?

BEST ANSWER: About 10sec. for full roll. You can stop anytime. You can also preset how far you want so if you know you only want 2" on top mask you can set it so you do not have baby sit it the whole time it is coming down.

Yes you can stop it when and where ever you want the height of it. Actually I have not been able to count half as they goes up-and-down but it is pretty fast and it’s a great screen I love it very much. Sometimes I do not want it all the way down I just keep it halfway it is actually very fast it goes up and comes down.

I have a wall space that is at 115” long. I want to confirm the specs sheet that this will fit. Will it?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, just barely. It may be a difficult instal as you will have no wiggle room to get around. Once it is in it will probably look really good.

BEST ANSWER: Wire hangs down on left side when looking at it. Also, the outside of ours is WHITE, not black like the picture shows..... we wish it would have been black.

I purchased this one year ago and has been the most reliable and easiest to work. The screen is heavy duty as well and doesnt move by the air vents etc.

Sweet screen
I love this screen, was easy to adjust after it was installed. The supplied trigger wire runs to my projector and boom projector on = screen up and down by itself. I have been using this for 4 months now and not a bubble or wrinkle anywhere. Totally worth the price as if you go any lower you are in for wrinkles for sure.

Very Nice Screen
I recently purchased my first projector the Benq HT2050 and after some experimentation I decided that I needed to get a dedicated screen for watching movies etc at home. My room is multipurpose and has to function as both a living room and a theater room so having a fixed frame screen was not a viable option so I decided to go with a retractable model. It occupies the same area of the room as the wall mounted 60 inch TV but drops down in front when the projector is used. Works slick.
I have the projector mounted 11ft 4 inches from the screen giving a 120 inch diagonal picture.
I had to ceiling mount the screen and after some stud finding I found a truss in just the right location. I screwed the brackets to the ceiling using some 2 inch long screws through the sheetrock and into the wood. Hanging the screen was easy with a helper and since the brackets can mount anywhere along its length the installation hardware is very versatile. It is very solidly mounted.
I ran an electric circuit through the attic and added sockets for the screen and the projector so it is plugged in all the time and operated via the IR remote.
After some adjustment to the "drop" of the screen and some time getting the projector aligned well the picture is really nice, bright with good colors.
The screen arrived via UPS freight in a very long box. It was very well packed in a double box with foam blocks too.
Some people have complained about a smell from the screen when it is first opened. Mine smells like a blow up air mattress, pool toy etc. My wife says that it smells like a Harbor Freight store but now that it's been a few days it isn't very strong.
The screen material seems to be reasonably high quality with very few ripples or waves, not bad for a non tensioned screen.
I was going to use the 12 volt trigger to control the screen from the projector but when I pulled the cables through the attic I didn't realize that the cable that comes with the screen is directional! It has two different sized ends. Of course I have it run the wrong way so for now I'm controlling the screen with a Harmony One remote which works fine.
The motor is pretty quiet and overall the screen seems to be quite high quality. For the price I paid, the quick shipping and the quality of the picture I am very happy.

All good
louder than I expected when going up and down, but not like it really matters. Figuring out the height adjustment wasn't fun, but once I had it figured out it was easy enough.

We are very happy with this product so far, having only used it once.
Was easy to install from the ceiling in our church. We had to use an fm range extender for remote control because of a distance of about 45' from screen to our sound booth. Except for having to adjust the down travel stop, travels down to far for us, it works very well.
