Is this power cord UL Listed: UL Certified by UL Authorized by OSHA - US Federal Agency that has a Unique UL number?
A shopper
on Dec 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: To be clear... UL is only a listing service, not a testing or certification lab. However, the manufacturer has applied for and received a "Cse" certification for this power cord and it is approved for use in the USA and Canada, and therefore, it meets all requirements for OSHA.

is this power cord UL Listed: UL Certified by UL Authorized by OSHA - US Federal Agency with a unique UL number?

BEST ANSWER: UL does not certify devices and appliances... UL merely "lists" them.
"Cse" tests and certifies cables and connectors.... (Which this cable is certified.)
While this appliance meets the "Cse" certification requirements that OSHA calls for for safety and use....
The cord itself CAN NOT BE USED IN THE WORKPLACE because OSHA does not allow electrical cords to exceed six feet in total length.

Thanks, Bozidar for your timely reply. UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories. It is one of the well-known testing agencies that the U.S. government approved to perform safety testing for the federal agency Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). OSHA maintains a list of approved testing laboratories, which are known as Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories. UL is
The bottom line is, it ensures the U.S. government and the end-user that the electrical product being used was built in an approved way and complies with the countries (in this case U.S.) safety codes.
It is somewhat reassuring that the product that you are plugging into your home's electrical system passed/complies with U.S. safety codes.

Will this fit an HP Z27n monitor?
A shopper
on Dec 5, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question.
The specs provided by HP would not make it clear what kind of power port the monitor would have.
It would be best to contact HP directly to see if they have that information.
