You have to base it off the amperage stated on the plug and the cord. The connector fitting looks correct.

Are both barrels of the power cord the same diameter? I am looking for a cable for a AN/USM-3A tube tster. The last cable I got had one barrel half the size of the other so it didn't work.

BEST ANSWER: Visually, both barrels appear to be the same size, certainly not half the size of the other. As the description says the cable is non-polarized I believe they are practically identical.

If this is a 18AWG cable why is only rated at 2.5A? Should be rated at 7A? I also have a 18AWG cable that came with my LG TV but it is rated a standard 7A.

BEST ANSWER: according to Underwriters Laboratories, the standard, 18 ga. cord wires are all rated at 10 amps up to 50 ft. then the voltage drop is too much.

Long CPAP power cable
Works great for a CPAP machine on a cruise ship that doesn't allow power strips and extension cords. This replaced the original 5ft cable the machine came with, and works just fine.

Does the job, no issues to report
I got me a deal on one of those Samsung curved TV's from a Facebook marketplace ad but the stock cable was painfully short, only about 5 foot or so. It was a 1-15P plug like this one but at a right angle rather than straight on. Not wanting to daisy chain extenders and risk a fire hazard I got this 15ft boy to replace the short stock cable and the TV booted up without issue, it's been almost a month I've had it in my setup and no issues to report.
