I cut the end off of an actual XLR cable. The wires in the cable looked to be 18 gage or smaller.

Do you make this 1-port 3-pin XLR Male Zinc Alloy Wall Plate with screw terminal back instead of solder?

There are XLR connectors (both male and female) with screw connectors - but not at Monoprice; search the internet "XLR connectors screw terminals"...

Can we get a picture of the back of the plate? What's there? Do you have to solder wires to it, or it there a female XLR connector to accept a male XLR plug?

Surprised
I have purchased a couple of these plates and have held them side by side with horizon and rapco plates that are 20-40 dollars a piece. You can tell these are cheaper build quality then the competitors, but excellent quality for just shy of 3 dollars a plate. The soder cups are smaller then the competitors so large wire is a no go.
PROS: Inexpensive, works, Good Value
CONS: Harder to soder vs other plates, cheaper quality
