Recently tried out the Monoprice Cat5e/Cat6 RJ45 Strain Relief Boots to give my cables a sleek upgrade, and they certainly add a touch of sophistication. The white color complements any setup seamlessly. The installation is a breeze, providing that extra layer of protection. However, the con surfaces when dealing with thicker cables - the boots can be a tad snug, requiring a bit of coaxing. If your cables lean towards the heftier side, consider sizing up. Overall, a stylish addition with just a small hiccup for the bulkier cables in the crowd.

I got 1000ft of cat6 for running drops, but I also wanted to get everything I needed to make Ethernet cables too since I'd have plenty of extra Cat6. These worked well for my cables. If I only remembered to put them on first!!

Barely fit on Cat6a

These boots fit CAT5E stranded cable perfectly. Easy to use and the colors were spot-on. Will definitely buy again.

It's a boot. You slip it on the cable before making up the connection. Only way it could go wrong is if you forgot to slip it on the cable when you started.

Won’t allow the cat5 to clip in properly making for poor loose connections

These boots are too small for the cat6a cable that monoprice sells (item 18607). They look well made, but I cannot use them.

Great item for the cost, will continue to purchase as needed.

stress relief boots aren't very technical. There's not much to say here, but monoprice provides good products that work just as well as any others that I've purchased, and the price is right. Shipping is always quick.
