Exactly what I was expecting.

I had to extend a network cable that ran through my attic and outside to a security camera. I was moving the camera and had not left enough slack in the line. So I cut the network cable, installed a couple of female rj45 keystone jacks on the ends I cut, and used this product to mount the new connections in my attic to my rafters. Then I just made a new network cable that had the length I needed plugged it in.

I know I "should" have ran a whole new network cable, but this is just at my house and the line only serves the one camera. Plenty good enough for me.

I like these single port surface jacks better than the more expensive name brand jacks!!!

Works great with the Monoprice keystone jacks!

I have installed well over 1000 of these now. I use them for above drop ceiling installs for W.A.P. Never found a better product or a similar one at this price.

These are pieces of crap, break instantly. The adhesive is a joke, you're better off using nothing than this piece of crap.

Great price. Love that you can use keystone jacks on a surface box. That way it’s flexible; you can use shielded or not

The insert slides out making it easy to snap jack in. It can be confusing determine which way is up though. Also sliding it back in takes a couple of tries. I don't like lettering on top of box, when I put label with jack # it does not cover all the lettering on the box, so it can make the label confusing with the other lettering showing around the edges.

never had a problem with these surface mounts, they come with sufficient compliments to get the job done

I don't think you'll find a deal anywhere better than this, it works and costs way less than you'll find anywhere else. Its pretty compact and space efficient and comes with tape or screws for mounting.
