This is a great kit for getting started. I used the crimper for making Ethernet cables and the cable tester is very useful for checking connections. I use this all the time when working on Cat cables

There are better crimping tools to use with 'modern' pass thru RJ45 jacks. The tester was a great piece to have. Also, the punchdown tool needs a solid surface below the keystone in order to get the correct connection for each wire.

Arrived at my home quickly. All pieces were three and in excellent condition.
Have only used the punch down tool and the cable stripper so far and both were great and easy to use.

Only con to speak of is i should have gotten the set with a tone generator and probe. lol

Good tool kit for the price.

Tested it on afew cables all of the tools seem well made....the stripper could be a bit nicer but the crimpers feel and work good.

tools and case seem well made, cable tester works..

Quality of the tools are good. fit and finish is B quality. Case is made by Fisher Price. Overall good tool for a small job
