Dirt cheap works well. It's a digital signal after all..

From TV to under the house & back up to the AVR it worked as planned. Netflix audio streaming from the TV came right through. Very happy.

Optical cable works normally. The only problem was getting the correct size. They initially shipped me a 30? Cable in a package that was labeled 40?. Returning it would?ve cost more than just buying a new one. In any case, it transmits accurate optical SPDIF signals over the state a distance without any distortion.

I've ordered a lot of cables and have returned a lot. Monoprice has never failed me yet. from HDMI to Optical cables to speaker cables, they are always the best quality and a very reasonable price. I've always said, you get what you pay for, and have found that so true with Monoprice. I've bought "good" quality cables at Lowe's and Home Depot only to fine out after install the ends break/bend and do not transmit a good signal. I have not had that problem with anything i ordered from Monoprice.

Purchased because HDMI ARC had a lot of stuttering issues. Fixed those issues and by choosing optical at my receiver and leaving my Samsung NU8000 as HDMI audio at the source. This allows me to control the receiver with the remote from the TV and the receiver is still receiving the optical audio, thus resolving my stuttering issue. Losing HDMI control was my biggest concern switching to this and my current setup allowed that to not be a thing :) Very happy.

Cable works great. I use antenna to catch network TV and ran the cable from the TV output to my stereo receiver at the side of my room to have surround audio.

Music is heard now, throughout the man-cave. Let there be music!

Work great. Fit is a little loose but no issues so far.
