It served the purpose very well to hide a low-voltage cable in well. It is sturdy and reasonably well-built.

PROS: Great price, fast shipping, and easy to install.

CONS: Tabs are very fragile

Great product but with flaws. Includes mud ring built in but the pass through is a bit small for all types of cords with ferrites. Also plastic breaks very easily. Installed 2 and both units are deformed or broken after install. Would buy again but be very careful when installing.

PROS: Great product, good coloring, easy install, good directions, don't need to buy an additional mud ring to install, everything is built in.

CONS: brittle plastic. Tabs to attach unit to wall broke off with multiple installed units. Tabs that connect the two parts together broke off too.



Hole is too small in back to pass through cords with ferrites on them. Back portion is removable but install is less seamless without the back piece.

During the installation of these I had to remove the back cover to feed the wires through the first one came off perfect but the second one cracked when I was taking it off. Once I had the wires through installing it into the ways was easy but when I screwed it in the clamps didn't spin to there up right position and one ended up breaking off completely while the other got bent, I ended up throwing both of them away. Mono price makes great products but these are an exception...

The product is great, but be very cautious of the thickness of wall material, 1/2" or less, had a very hard time and had to modify to fit into a plaster wall approx. 3/4". I knew this could be an issue but preferred the thinner pass-through opening, just didn't do my homework and notice in the description that the overall depth was 3/4" less than the non-slim fit.

PROS: Looks Great, fairly well made

CONS: Be cautious of over-tightening the dogs, strip and break fairly easily.
