Will it work with a 65’ tv??

BEST ANSWER:I put up a 60” plasma which is probably in 100lb range and this mount wasn’t up to task for it. I have to keep a board wedged at bottom of tv to keep it from tilting all the way forward. Not real happy. I think max weight rating for this mount is in 50 to 75lb range

Depends on the TV. Check the VESA pattern of your tv against the VESA range of this mount. Please note that the closer you get to the upper portion of the VESA range, the less horizontal sliding adjustments you will have.
This is a quality, heavy duty TV wall mount. I had no issues installing it except for figuring out the best viewing height. For me, the design is just okay. I had trouble tightening one of the sliding bracket wingnuts. The wingnut has a nice long grip handle to tighten the TV angle bracket but stuck out too far. The back of the TV blocked turning the handle. I ultimately reattached the TV brackets and tightened the nut. But my gripe is the design of the mount limits the space between the wall and the TV. My heavy LG TV (70lbs.) has most all of the connections located in the back center. So trying to connect/insert the HDMI cables into the slot was a real challenge. I ultimately took the TV off the wall, inserted all the cables and then remounted the TV. It would be easier to access the back of the TV if those brackets were angled to extend the TV further away from the wall. Hey...bottomline, I am overall pleased with the mount, the price was nice, and I got free shipping as a promo. 4 and a half stars.
I hung a 150 lb 60" plasma, when I unboxed it seemed beefy enough but after getting it up on wall the tilt mechanism won't hold the weight. I torqued the locking bolts down as tight as they go still TV leans and ended up having to shove a pine board In behind bottom of TV to keep it from tilting. I would say this mount should be rated to take no more than 100 lbs. First Monoprice mount I ever had issue with. Disappointed.
While Cox was connecting all the TVs the rep recommended that we go to Momoprice to get our wall mounts instead of buying them locally. So we bought 5 mounts through Monoprice (3 regular and 2 that can extend and rotate) saving us a lot of money. However, the anchors on all 5 mounts all had about a 1 cm gap between the bolt head and wall and would not tighten more so I really felt uncomfortable using those anchors. Ended up going to Lowes and buying a bulk pack of EZ Anchors and now all 5 mounts are secure to the wall.
Solid product with decent instructions and simple installation. This is the second wall mount like this that I've bought. Can't go wrong if you want a tilt mount that will last.
PROS: Great customer service in making a choice Quick shipping Easy to use product
I have had good success with mounting brackets from Monoprice in the past. This one how ever could not support my TV. The TV weighs 101 lbs and the adjustable brackets could not hold the TV in position when the TV placed on the mount. We tightened the handles as best we could however the way these were designed they will not support a heavier TV.
Another awesome product from Monoprice. I used this to mount a large and very heavy 42 inch Hitachi plasma tv, and it worked perfectly. I made sure to search for a heavy duty mount, and this fits the bill. It was quick and easy to install, and was of course a great price.
I didn't want to deal with returning the product so just fixed the issue myself. Overall I am happy, just wished the quality control would have made sure to send the right brackets in the first place. Also bring a friend/wife when installing the TV onto the bracket.
PROS: Fits JVC 55" no problem. Tilt works as well after fix (see below)
CONS: Obviously issues with QC. Received my package with two left hand side brackets (you should get a left and a right). If I had mounted it with the included brackets, one of the tilt mechanics would have been lost behind the TV mount, unreachable. Thankfully you can remove the locking nuts from the bolts and just swap the internal components of the bracket to make it a right hand side one.
