On the male portion of this cable, is the prong housing removable?

BEST ANSWER: No. this configuration is just extends the IEC female when connected to a nema 3 prong or 2 prong male to female IEC cable or other IEC male to iced cable. Cannot and should not remove or cut the housing!

Quality, Inexpensive Product
I am using 8 of these cables to connect to a PDU in a datacenter. They are long enough to reach all my equipment, but easily tied away. The connection is secure, which can be a problem with this type of plug. Highly recommended.
