Cable does not take flexing well. We have purchased approx 250 of these and are having a 5 to 10% failure rate. We believe this is due to cable flexing and twisting during installation into an embedded computer product we make.
PROS: Once installed and they pass our testing department. They seem to hold up.
CONS: Twisting and flexing the cable can cause failures near the connector ends.
Wish they had nuts on the female end embedded into the ejection molded ends. They captive screws do not work well for us. This would allow the use of jackscrews to allow connecting another video cable to it. We have had 3 computers returned due to failed cables.
I ordered the longer 15 foot one originally. It works great with Netflix. I ordered it so I could watch Netflix on several tvs. I am going to use these short ones to attach to back of tv and thus can hook up my computer to three different tvs without struggling - they are hung on the wall - I now can go from room to room - simple hook up.
