I recently ordered (3) of these from Monoprice, and did receive
them in a timely manner, and in very good condition. I hooked
these up to my (3) security cameras and what a difference
they made in the video quality. Much Better Now.
I am very happy with these.

They do what we need them to do. Video and x-ray in our hospital. No complaints. But for some reason they keep disappearing. Ordering more now...

Bought this to use with my home radio scanner, wow did I get a lesson in OHM's, since this is RG59 its not for use with that type of application, to much DB loss with such a long run. RG58 works best.

CONS: Not for use with Scanner radio antenna cable.

I have been a long time customer of Monoprice and have sworn by them...at least I used to be. I purchased a number of BNC cables from 3 footers to 100 foot cables recently to use as HD-SDI cables. I have used these cables fine in the past, but usually I just use them to connect a camera to a monitor or something similar.

However these cables were used in a patch panel where I would connect a camera or something similar and then it would route the signal through high end belkin SDI cables about 100 feet further. When I got the cables I was having a bunch of issues with the signal on the other end (flickering, little digital stars, and sometimes no signal at all). Since I have used monoprice cables for so long, I swore it wasn't the cables so I started the process of getting the tech support people to come back and inspect why their equipment and patching wasn't working properly. The entire process of troubleshooting all the equipment issues took a little over a month because of how often the meeting room was in use where we needed to troubleshoot the issues. In the end we figured out that the shielding is so low quality on these cables that it was letting off enough data that the final image was giving us all that trouble. Using good Belkin SDI cables, of same lengths and even longer lengths there are no issues whatsoever. And worst of all, when I went to return them to monoprice, they told me since I was just outside of their 30 day return policy, they won't refund me! Save your money and get good cables from vendors who will stand behind their product. I must have bought hundreds cables (HDMI, RCA, DVI, BNC, etc) in the past for many companies I worked for....you'd think that Monoprice would care...but no. Just buy a reel of Belkin cable, get the bnc ends and a crimper tool...look online it isn't that difficult to make them and not much more expensive than monoprice...and they actually work!

CONS: Not good for HD-SDI
Not good for long runs

No problems to report on the cable

PROS: Very helpful staff
No problem ordering the product

CONS: I had to order the product twice since Monoprice does not have a back order system.

excellent cable

Tried to use several of these to take an HD SDI signal across the room to a projector. The signal would drop after 50 ft, and if multiple cables were strung next to each other, there were crosstalk issues.
Should've checked when I ordered, but a note in the description would've been handy.

PROS: length listed correctly. solid connectors

CONS: unshielded

You can't beat this cable for the price.

If you want the impossible combination of cheap, good, and fast all THREE of them, that is look no further than Monoprice.com! Not even EBAY can beat these guys! I am amazed at the top-notch quality of their cables and for how low they can sell them, not to mention the fast delivery for REASONABLE prices (and for a time there, they even OVERNIGHTED THEM FOR FREE!!!). Simply put, stop wasting time scouring the rest of the Web I've already done that: it doesn't get better than this!!!
