I am looking for a board so that I can digitize my LPs. Will this work using the outputs of the phono cartridge or would I need to have a pre-amp between the turntable and the mixer?

When connected to a computer via USB for recording, is each channel recorded separately, or is it one output/main that is sent via USB?
Randall W
on Oct 14, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Given the lack of response, I assume the USB output is a stereo mixdown. If it's actually passing 8 individual channels (or 8 plus a stereo mixdown) then this is the best deal in the history of audio interfaces and Monoprice ought to trumpet that feature at the top of the page.

Can anyone confirm this works properly as a USB mic interface for Zoom?
A shopper
on Jan 13, 2022
BEST ANSWER: Yes. We use it this way for Zoom-based “hybrid” meetings in a conference room in our church. The input is a condenser mic requiring phantom power. The USB output of the mixer goes to a laptop where we run Zoom. We need to set Zoom to specifically use the USB mic.

What Bluetooth version is this mixer utilizing?
Jonathan P
on Feb 10, 2022
BEST ANSWER: I don’t know which BT version is used, but in order to get music from the mixer to play through my Dell laptop running W10, I needed to go to the Microsoft Store and download the (free) “Bluetooth Audio Receiver” by Mark Smimov. See the requirements for the W10 system, and instructions, in that Microsoft Store writeup.

Stage Right by Monoprice SRD212 1200W 12-inch Powered Speaker with Class D Amp, DSP, and Bluetooth Streaming
BEST ANSWER: Yes, with the appropriate cables. You can use the output of the board as an input for the speaker to increase your number of input. Depending on the quality you need, it does introduce another possible source of noise to the system.

USB ADC is 1 channel, can't simultaneously connect USB and pair BT
I planned to use this specifically to record to stereo. In fact, the mixer supports stereo output. Unfortunately, the USB interface does not support stereo. In Windows 10, the default USBAudio2.0 recording device supports one setting only: 1 channel 48kHz.
This is not documented anywhere in the product description, nor the user manual.
There is also odd interaction between the Bluetooth input and USB device. If you pair BT, the mixer disconnects the USB device. The only way to restore USB connectivity is to disconnect BT, then remove-restore the physical USB cord.
Otherwise, the unit seems well made and lots of analog functionality. Unfortunately, I have to pay to return it as it's completely unsuitable for my application.

Stopped working a week in.
I don't often leave reviews, but my product actually stopped working after a week. Seemed like it wasn't able to receive info from the USB cord, it powered on just fine.

4 channel mixer
Very happy with this mixer. I wanted the 6 channel but out of stock, but this one is doing well. The delay sounds very similar to reverb if anyone is concerned. The setup was a little confusing but not enough to knock it down to a 4.

So many problems...
Here's the issues so far in the first hour:
1) The Main adjusts the USB Record output, it should record the mix (meaning everything up to to Main, but the Main shouldn't adjust the USB output).
2) The Bluetooth seems to unpair, then think it's paired, but the only way to fix it is to remove power, and USB (because if the USB is connected, it's getting some power feedback from it). Then reconnect. Basically the Bluetooth is unusable in a event as it's unreliable.
3) Phantom power is weak, as most of my mics that require it aren't getting enough power from it.
4) USB has a lot of background white noise even when all inputs are at "zero" (including the Main, which as I stated in #1 controls it's output along with the mains).
I've had good luck with Stage Right equipment in the past, but this is basically nothing more than a "toy" mixer.

Delay Effect Doesn't Work
This mixer is supposed to have a built-in delay. I tried three different microphones and two keyboards and the delay definitely does not work. Another reviewer had the same problem. I purchased this mixer from another online retailer.

Sorry - have not used it yet. Catch me later, please.
Have not used or put on bench yet. It will be used to check polar pattern of microphones so electrical performance not too important so long as phantom works to spec and flat response can be achieved with the tone controls.
Small size a advantage for my application.
Certainly a bargain if it works to spec.

Not for me
This unit is great price, and might be OK for some people, but is not the podcast quality I was looking for. I returned it and bought Yamaha MG12XU which is way more expensive but got the podcast quality I needed.

Great deal - minor issue.
Does what I need it to at an unbeatable price. I love how compact it is.
The delay does not seem to working though. I do not really need a delay on a mixer so I haven?t bothered to contact succorer support or try to return. A reverb would have been more useful

Good option, if you only need 4 channels, or two XLR mics and a Stereo input.
This 4 channel unit, is dead simple to use, has Bluetooth, two XLR Channels, and USB output.
Not sure what else you?d need this unit to do, for the price this is good deal.
