Would a standard Jazzmaster pickguard fit this if I wanted to mod it?

BEST ANSWER: Haven't tried it, but just looking at them side-by-side, I'd say the pickguards are completely different and definitely not a direct replacement. That said, with enough skill, patience, time and tools, you could probably MAKE it work.

Spec says neck radius is 350mm, which is almost 14". Is that an error, or is the neck really like an Ibanez/Jackson shredder?
A shopper
on Sep 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: 350mm is correct. The neck is much flatter than the standard 9.5 strat radius.

Is there any option to get this model with the red tortoise shell pick guard?

BEST ANSWER: As a customer who bought this guitar, there are no options other than color of the body but for a guitar that costs only $139.00 you could have a custom shop install one for you. As far as the guitar, It is beautiful and it plays like it should. The only complaint is the frets are quite sharp.

Is the Indio body the same size as a Fender Jazzmaster? In other words, with the proper routing could I put a Fender pickguard on it without it hanging over the edges or looking weird?
A shopper
on May 21, 2021
BEST ANSWER: No. The Indio body is marginally smaller, and the upper horn is shaped different, and smaller.

It is not the same size. It is smaller. Haven't compared the PG but the body size differs.

What kind of routing does this have under the pickguard? Is it routed just for the pickups it has or is it pool routed? Does it have a route in the upper horn to make adding a rhythm circuit possible? How does it compare to the other Indio Offsets in this respect? I know, lots of questions. Just answer what you can, if you can. :)

BEST ANSWER: Under the pick guard is fully open "swimming pool" routed. I have found no premade aftermarket pick guards, so If you are doing something custom, you will need to modify the factory one or make one from scratch. Fun guitar

Indio Offset (Jag) guitar
I have many NICE guitars ranging from American Fenders to Gibson , Gretch, Ibanez , Epiphones and Squires. I have 2 guitar techs that can do amazing things with even the "not as nice" guitar. This guitar came out of the very nice gig bag and without much effort became a very nice playing and sounding guitar. I would gig and record with this guitar. these pickups have a nice variety of tone colors.. I would buy another one but I now have 2. Its a great guitar for a small amount of money.

Great bones to work with
It's an amazing deal, especially for the $115 sale price that I got it for. At it's core, it's a very usable instrument. As you would expect at this price point, it's gonna need some time (and possibly, money) put toward a good setup. I have shimmed and adjusted the neck, re-cut the string slots in the nut, and adjusted the intonation. The 12th fret sits a bit high, and I will tackle that problem this weekend. With all that said, I'm quite happy with my purchase and am looking forward to playing it for years to come.

Great tone, fit and finish, a true bargain.
This has tone like no other guitar I own. I purchased to get a rosewood neck and it feels fine. Also it cost less than re-necking the strat copy.
Positions 2&4 give the best scooped out sound I have ever heard.
The neck was free from the jagged fret wire like on the strat copy.
Great value, fit and finish with excellent pickups. Does it play like a guitar costing ten to fifteen dollars more; no however, for the cost it is a gem.

Very nice inexpensive offset.
Very good fit and finish, nice tone .I can almost touch the whammy bar to the body and it always stays in tune, unlike some of my other guitars.Frets need filing on the ends and the fretboard needed oiling.
