Your desciption says each of the 8 cells has an RGBW LED in it. Yet a review says each cell is only one color. Which is true? or can you only change the cell colors using DMX control mode and party mode does not have that option?
This clearly states that it has 8 4-in-1 RGBW LEDs, but they are NOT, the colors you see in the picture are the colors each LED is set to. There is another version out there sold on Tom Top that actually is RGBW on each LED. This is confusing. If this was a little cheaper and sold as is and described properly, it'd be 5 stars, if this was sold at it's current price and updated to include 4-in-1 LEDs on each lamp, then it would also be 5-stars, but even though it's still a good value, I can not give 5-stars due to this miss representations.
Description will be revised shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hard to configure manually.
I bought this for the decent price an multiple lights. Once I received it, it took a while to get the lights going, the led display and instructions were confusing. But once it got it working, it looked great. I bought this for my daughters bday party since the DJ only had minimal lights. I brought to the party and when it was time for music and dancing, i spent 20 min trying to get it working to no avail. I could not get the lights to move for the party. Looks like it meant to be used with a DMX light controller.
I took this baby out camping with a couple of long time friends, as a surprise addition to our music listening way out in the bush, where we're able to crank the tunes using my friend's truck stereo. I planted the mini-spider on the roof with the microphone on to sync with the music. We were gathered together under a bunch of trees, the mini-spider shot its lights into them for a incredible light show, using only that sound controlled setting. Too cool. I think I'll get another one. I could certainly run more than one on my 400 watt voltage inverter, and still run a guitar amp to trigger it. Highly recommended.
Value is wonderful. Build seems strong like any party light. I wasn't award from the listing that this is limited to RGBW. Meaning, there are no other colors, not mixable. Also, it seems that each square/bulb is permanently its color- they do not change. i.e. on the first row 1-R, 2-B, 3-G, 4-W. Always, they blink off and on, but they are static colors. The 2nd row is the opposite order. Again, for the $$, I'm still sold on it, however i personally wish there were color control - that we could make the whole unit WHITE only, etc.
