Great light for the price., solid construction. Light weight compared to ETC source 4. Output equivalent to a 575.

Better than expected, very bright, clean light!
The only drawback is some slight rainbow fringing on the edges of the spot, but with care, you can overcome this.

mine came with the front plastic lens with finger prints and something sticky on it. this should be a glass lens

Nothing in the manual shows how to install gobo holder,
found slot but the screws that hold the sliding cover were both Stripped

I think they’re great. To the first widely considered concern: this was a permanent install, not touring, so plastic housings aren’t an issue. The housings are actually pretty robust, but they are still plastic. To the second: every 5 and 10 degree lens in every theatre uses plastic lenses, so plastic lenses aren’t an issue.

I had two issues. 1: they are MUCH bigger than, say, an ETC 750w 19degree Leko. Like almost twice as long and almost twice the diameter. That being said, again it wasn’t an issue for us, I just wasn’t expecting that.

2: we bought 26, and 2 of them had issues. One was DOA, and the other had dmx issues that caused all fixtures down stream to go haywire. We had to replace them. A 10% failure rate is not good. But, I almost expect that with a bargain basement price and no-name brand. So again, I weigh value, hence only one star down.

This is a decent, inexpensive ellipsoidal. We have these side by side with some fixtures that cost 3-4x. The difference is clear. The light quality is much better from the other fixtures. This fixture is more cheaply constructed. However, that said, they do the job for a fraction of the price. If budget permits, buy better, but if not, they will do.
