It has a permanently attached power cable, but it does not come with a 1/4” cable to hook up to a guitar.

Hi Ryan. Not sure on the warranty. I think it would state the details on their website. I hope you have fun with that amp. i don't use it on gigs , however , it is a great practice amp and so easy on the back.

Does 'direct out' turn off/defeat the speaker? Or can you use this as a direct box and stage monitor simultaneously???

BEST ANSWER: "Line Out" does *not* mute the amp's speaker, so it seems like it could be used as a simultaneous direct box/stage monitor (tho it wouldn't be a very loud monitor). The "Headphones" line out *does* mute the speaker, and the volume of headphones is controlled by the volume knobs on the amp.

Great Little Practice/Jam Amp
This is a great practice amp. It would be fine for jam sessions with no drummer and for song writing/learning sessions. It has a full and tight sound and plenty of tone shaping ability with the 3 band EQ. The compression button is plus for mitigating the pops and growls.
It's a fun and well built little amp, well worth the price.

Great first amp for a beginner bass player
I'm a lifelong rhythm guitarist who wanted to try my hand (literally) at the bass. This is the first bass amp that I ever bought, and it's well worth the money. Plenty of power for practice or cranking it up in the garage or basement when the kids aren't sleeping! :-) I wish that you could adjust the built-in compression with a knob (instead of just on and off), but I paid less than $80 for mine on sale, so what more could I really ask. Name brand amps with lower wattage cost twice what I paid for this amp, so I'm very happy with it.

Don't know how the amplifier works yet, as I haven't received it. Original order was (suspected) damaged during shipment and was returned to Monoprice. Awaiting new one which should be here around 10 December. Monoprice customer service was excellent during this process.

Perfect for small rooms and a plug for headphones
I bought it for my nephew he loved it and the best he can plug his headphones so he won't bother anyone and practice in his room anytime.
