It came out of the box looking perfect--just like the photos on the web site. Very solidly built. (And the packaging was super sturdy--double boxed.) Fit and finish are perfect. For this price, I was quite surprised. I was looking for an amp for my acoustic guitar that would produce an authentic full acoustic sound. This does. It's not going to fill big rooms, but it's perfect for jamming and small venues. A nice punch. I especially specially like the mid frequency adjustment. And the dedicated mike and line inputs and output. The only missing qualities I would add if I were designing it would be reverb for the mike channel and separate volumes for mike and input.
The one I received was defective and needs to be returned. Customer Service was steller though. I will ship this one back at no expence to me to receive a replacement.
I like what I see and hear so far though. I can't wait to have a fully functioning one to really put it through its paces.
First amp I've ever had; have nothing to compare it to, and it looks just as it was pictured, & seems to work fine. Good price, value; meets my expectations for a personal, practice amp. My grandkids love the output of my Cordoba Fusion 12 Crossover guitar thru the amp.
Great concept and design. Nothing special, nothing really wrong. It's a pretty good value for the money but you get what pay for.
The components could be better, especially the speaker. And by the way, it is 8", not 10" or 12". I have a replacement speaker coming in the hopes of fattening up the bottom end just a bit so it's more natural sounding. The stock speaker is very tight and has a lot of mid-range tonality and no bottom whatsoever. But what do you expect for an 8" speaker?
Effects are tolerable and usable as long as you keep it dialed back. None on the microphone channel.
Well built and nice features. Easy front panel access to all of the controls.
Again, pretty good value for $100.00. But I wouldn't try a gig with it.
The amp was solidly built, more than I expected. The sound was clean. The reverb did create a little background noise when turned up over half way. The chorus was clean. I left the tone controls at midpoint because the amp’s natural sound was quite adequate. Most surprising is that when I used it with my solid body and hollow body electric guitars, it sounded better than the two name brand guitar maker’s amps that I have. I prefer clean tones and do not use fuzz, crunch, distortion, or high gain signal disruption. I do use full chorus and partial reverb this amp and with it’s inherent excellent sound it performs perfectly.
It's good but not great. It's going to be a useful amp. I just wish it would sound better. So, excellent concept for a small gig amp. It sounds good but it's just doesn't sound real good.
