Uhhh... 19mm is the width of my index finger. I assume you measured the THICKNESS, not the WIDTH...?

Sounds like you answered about thickness, not width, though "neck" rather than "fingerboard" does muddy the waters.
19mm is about 3/4". I think you measured the thickness, not the width, of the neck.

19mm is only like 3/4 inch. Thats only about as wide as my thumb. I m sure this answer is not correct.

19mm is only 3/4 inch. I think your talking about the neck thickness not width. I believe the width would be 43mm 1.693 or about 1-11/16 thats a standard size.

That can't be correct. You must be measuring thickness. The answers below this are correct.

Both 19 mm and 22 mm are less than 1 inch (=25 mm) so these numbers imply that the neck is less than 1 inch wide! Not likely

What type of bridge is on the guitar is it any good?
A shopper
on Dec 19, 2020
BEST ANSWER: It's a Wilkinson style tremolo bridge, which would work if the guitar came with the usual 3 tremolo springs. However, it only came with 2, so the guitar won't stay in tune. after using the tremolo.

Very impressed with this guitar. It stays in tune when using the vibrato, as good as guitars that cost 3 to 4 times more.

What are the dimensions of the neck pocket and drilled holes? I am looking to maybe swap out the neck with an extended scale baritone neck that uses the pocket size and mounting holes of a Fender Stratocaster.

Another great Monoprice guitar
I was one on the lucky ones and got mine for 35.00 shipped. I'm trying to think of how many guitars I had starting out before I got one this good. It feels good in the hand, got a nice weight, looks good, plays well. Only issue, the frets could use a polish. There's no fret buzz, extremely happy.

Very good, as a mod platform
The guitar has very good weight and resonance, the Wilkinson bridge is a plus as well as the bone nut. The fret work is generally good in terms of not having rough edges, and not extremely rough. The action is impeccable to play fast, very low without a buzz. The only thing I find not to my liking is the pickups.. They are muddy and the bridge pickup doesn't have a lot of definition. But as expected for a guitar costing less than $200 there had to be something to improve. A good set of pickups would put this guitar in the $500 Jackson neighborhood.

Punches well above its weight!
I bought this guitar as a gift for my daughter's 14th birthday, but it was tough to actually hand it over when the time came! Prior to wrapping it, I unboxed it and gave it a pretty thorough inspection and test run. I was VERY impressed!
The product page states that the guitar is set up by a luthier/tech prior to shipping to the end user - this was a major factor in my choosing this guitar, as most others in this price range are just passed straight on from the factory. That said, I was skeptical about how well it would be set up, because of the price point. This will probably sound like exaggeration, but I really was stunned when I tested out the guitar - it was set up fantastically well! It was also still nearly in tune, indicating that it must have been set up (or at least play-tested) just prior to shipping to me.
The pickups sound quite nice, and the SSH configuration is ideal (IMO). And fit and finish is on par with much more expensive guitars. I may have to buy another!

Impressive.
Been playing for 60 years. Very good quality. Setup was not needed. Easy to play and love the trem setup. Finish was flawless. Comparable to much more expensive guitars.

excellent guitar for the price.
This guitar is very well made. It has a satin finish on the neck which I really like. The paint job is beautiful . It came with a very nice gig bag and the tools for the guitar. The pick ups sound really good. It has the new style tremolo bar system on it. The only thing it has slightly sharp fret ends, but not that will hurt your fingers at all. Just a little clean up to make them perfect. I wish they would ship them in two boxes just to make it safer for shipping. I recommend this guitar for purchase. I plan on purchasing another guitar in the future.

Great guitar, replace the springs if you're going to use heavier strings
Overall great guitar, especially for the price. I highly recommend replacing the factory claw springs with Floyd Rose because the factory springs are too weak for heavier gauge strings.

What's not to like? this car is beautiful and it's easy to play. It's pretty much a good out of the box but some slight adjustments in it it's even better. Get one next time they go on sale you won't regret it

The set up was really good so I had to do very little on that. The frets were rounded nicely and no sharp edges. Great sound and looks!
