Are the pickups Wilkinson alnico magnets or Wilkinson licensed ceramic pickups?

BEST ANSWER: The ones that came on mine were low output ceramic. Sounded bad so I replaced them all with generic alnico 5 pickups from ebay which are much much better.

They are labled Wilkinson, but I thought remember it being said they are alnico, but I have no way of knowing the difference.

Does the Wilkinson bridge have the “pop-in” type trem arm or a conventional Strat-type threaded arm?

BEST ANSWER: It's a pop-in trem. Mine came very loose though, and if you prefer a tighter setting, you'll have to adjust the nut--which is deep enough that I had to remove the whole block to get to it.

Don't hesitate-get one!
This guitar is everything I hoped it would be. I have played 4 gigs with it now and it performs very well. If you don't look at the headstock, you'd swear you were playing a high-end Fender. Set up was great out of the box. The gigs I've played on it with were with factory strings, factory set up, everything. The intonation is spot-on. No sharp fret edges. Only drawback was the weight, which is only about about two pounds more than the Ibanez this Indio is a back up for, but it feels heavier than that. I got a better strap and now it doesn't bother me. The Ibanez was 7 lbs, the Indio was almost 9. But definitely not a deal breaker. Love this guitar and would definitely buy again!

Quality worse than 2 years ago
I've purchased a dozen or so guitars from these guys, especially through (C***D). I've had to return half of them due to the same problem usually...mechanical failures and luthier issues and parts quality. I was happy to get this on sale, but I still had to return it due to (7) frets being to high causing the dreaded fret buzz. Tremolo arm/system didn't work. Rough edges on both sides of all frets. And, not the biggest problem, but the strings were not lined up with the poles on the pickups. Yeah, the price wasn't too bad, but I don't want to do all that work. I've done it in the past, but I'm over it. I sincerely doubt Master Luthier exists.
