I bought 3 of the Monoprice Guitar Stands, 2 Monoprice Microphone Stands, and the Monoprice Sheet Music Stand. Love them - all work Great. I now also ordered another Monoprice Microphone Stand and another Monoprice Guitar Stand - so all will continue to match.

Very well made and easy to adjust with the handle adjustment. Well worth the money.

All good except stand base legs are NOT stable - tipsy - wish I could understand why - should be tri-pod-stable but is not...

I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and sturdiness of this microphone stand. It's not some cheaply made stand, rather a well-made one. The stand has adjustments all over the place to raise, lower, twist, turn, and otherwise manipulate the positioning. This works great for me as I've actually been using this to do streaming videos with a web cam and have the cam clipped to the end.

Incredible value for multiple features at a rock bottom price. Heavy duty construction and easy to use one handed clutch adjustment (it does work best to hold a leg of the tripod down with one foot.) No more pinching and blistering when trying to adjust the height like when using the usual twist/screw action with one and and having the boom head slam down on your hand.

This is a very robust stand for something in the entry level market. I don't have the issues with the clutch that others have referred to, but I could see the likelihood of this plastic part failing with limited abuse. I purchased three. One of the threads for the mic clip is stripped halfway down, meaning the threaded washer has to be well up toward the clip before it engages. On two out of the three, the small part of the boom is jammed and can't move it at all using just my hands (going to resort to a vicegrip next, but that is going to make the paint a mess, I'm sure). These are for a rehearsal space, and will likely do the trick for that, but not sure I would take them on the road.
