Do they really prevent radio sounds from coming out of my speaker?

BEST ANSWER: In my experience no, but my setup is not just a cable into an amp. Radio interference is not necessarily coming from your guitar cable. Radio interference occurs due to lack of shielding or poor grounding of anything from the guitar to the amp to even your pedals. Could even be the wiring/grounding in the building you live in.

Hello, Im asuming by speaker you mean amp ? I have not had a prob dude but dont get me wrong sometimes its like i hear radio noises in my brain and im not even pluged in chillin bro

I have had no issues with this cable. Works perfectly and any interference would be from either amp or pedal not being shielded

BEST ANSWER: Does it really matter...these cables WORK, are well made and are just as good, if not better than comparable cables that cost way more...does the color of the cable really make that much of a difference? They work, and that's what matters

I’m a beginner so don’t have a lot cables to compare to. But my 10ft cable is picking up serious radio signals on even modest amp gain. I put a ferrite choke I had lying around on it and that helped a lot but they are still there. Is that typical? Are any of your cables better shielded than the Cloth series? The amp and guitar are both Monoprice, too. Thanks.

Currently there would not be a cable we carry with better shielding than this cable.

Another good cable

I have a lot of the Monoprice instrument cables (colors, lengths ) but I needed another one with a right angle to use with new volume pedal. Will continue to buy Monoprice, all have been quality. DON

Great cable, but...

I would have given a 5 star rating, but I have to take away a star due to the cable is not as described. They do not have gold plated connectors as described. They are however still a very nice quality made cable for the price.. I would definitely recommend these to everyone.

Great value

I've used these for a while and they are very reliable. Many other cables tend to become faulty especially with heavy use, these hold up very well especially considering the price.
