I was hoping to use these from my docking station to my DVI KVM switch... didn't work so well / blank / grainy picture, so I'll need to find another use for these cables.

No adapter issues causing disconnects or other issues, everything just works

Heavy duty cable and good quality connectors. Very happy with it.

what I needed it for: my new video card doesn't have DVI ports but my old wacom graphics tablet uses a DVI connection

Cable arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed.

Installed on a new laptop docking station that had no HDMI or DVI ports and only one VGA port. User needed two monitors, and this worked well. I have no issues with this, but I now prefer PID 12802, which outputs to HDMI, Dual-DVI, and VGA.

I received a new laptop for work. My old laptop came with a docking station that had VGA and DVI outputs. My new laptop docking station has VGA and display port outputs. I bought this cable to convert one of the display ports to DVI. I then plug that in to my Monoprice DVI switcher and then to the monitor. I now have two monitors for my home workstation and my work laptop.
