will it fir 43 inch tv?

BEST ANSWER: Description says 37 to 70. I mounted a 55" and a 65" TV with this stand and it worked fine. I'm betting it will work on a 43 as long as that TV has VESA mounting on the back.

I believe the middle holes are just to hold it so you can free your hand. I placed a drywall screw 3/4 the way in just so I could have both hands free. I removed the middle screw when I was done. This is just long enough to reach two studs on 16" centers, and there's no way I would trust just the center holes. There should be other mounts that install using only one stud - especially if it's just a 40" LED screen.

I installed this several months ago, and I no longer have the installation instructions. I'm sure the instructions would ask for four points of attachment, However if you really need to mount this on a centered stud, I would do it with two screws provided they were three inches long and at least a #12 screw. I would also use a half inch washer on each screw. Good Luck, Don

Can this bracket allow the tv to slide from left to right after mounting?
New User U
on Jan 11, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Depends. How big is your TV? What mounting are you using? We used the 200 x 200 mounts on the TV and had room to slide it a few inches left or right. However it was a very tight space so we measured carefully. You should download and read the installation manual. There is a fixed plate which goes on the wall and is not supposed to move. There are brackets which install on the TV. The spacing between the mounting holes (200 mm or 400 mm) will determine how much room you have to work with.

The quick answer is yes, however that depends on how far apart the mounts are on your TV. When you mount the backplate, the hangers simply hang on that mount allowing you to move it from side to side if necessary. This makes it easier to center the TV on a wall.

We have a 50' flat screen tv that we need to mount above brick fireplace. Will this mount be sturdy enough for that?
A shopper
on Oct 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely. I have done a couple of dozen of these set-ups. The main thing to not overlook is to get the correct anchors. I like to use the 1"-1 1/2" masonary anchors from Home Depot or Lowes....the ones you have to hammer in. Don't drill the pilot holes too thick or the anchors won't fit snugly. Also try not to hammer them 100% flush. I would use 4-6 of those anchors with this mount on brick. Space them out and don't forget to keep the mount level as possible while hammering in those anchors. Good luck!

I would say that if you mounted the bracket with 3 sets of anchors - the middle into the wood stud with 3/8" lag screws - and the outside 2 sets using large (also 3/8") toggle bolts, that would be sufficient to hold the TV. If you research recommended weight ratings for toggle bolts, 3/8" are rated at 60lb tension and 65 lbs shear in 3/8" drywall, which should be more than sufficient if you have a good solid connection with your center set into wood studs.

Lag into 2 separate wall studs and you will have no problem. As always, you’ll want to pilot drill those holes before driving in your lag bolts to keep from splitting your studs. Use a drill bit smaller than the threads of your lag bolts. Happy viewing!

It works well with my 50" Samsung 6 Series. I am not certain of the edge on your TV or how it may impact using the mount. Although, my TV has a 2.5" protrusion along about the bottom back 20% of the TV and it fits with just about over an inch to spare while tilted downwards. Not sure if i can add a pic for a reference. It's fairly easy to install and make sure it is level. There is a bubble tube thing in there for leveling, but found mine wasn't exactly on, but very close. Make sure to measure with another one or two levels if you do purchase.
Hope this helps.

BEST ANSWER: I'd recommend you buy the whole kit; it all works together and the price is reasonable. There are multiple mounts from Monoprice, so it's possible you'd only need the arms, but if it's another manufacturer I would question if it would be safe. BEST ANSWER: You will need to check the screen's manual for the VESA pattern. Most likely yes, it will work. Be sure the screen is below 165lbs.

Short answer...yes. You want to make sure that you use the correct screws AND spacers to properly attach the arms to the back of the TV . Also...try your best to get the mount on the wall using 3 studs if at all possible. Map out your TV center of the wall you're using the TV's dimensions. Then find your studs...3-4 if you can. Use the center holes on your mount to line up on your most center stud...then go from there.

I just bought an LG 65" C9 TV, will this mount stick up when mounted? Since the LG OLED have only the mounting section on the bottom portion of the TV.

BEST ANSWER: I don’t believe that the mount will stick past your TV’s back portion. I am not familiar with the mounting style of the LG but I have a 55” Samsong Qled and the mount does not show. I would recommend temporarily installing the mount to the back of your TV prior to installation to make sure it will work. This will also help and possibly change the rough in height of the mount, power, HDMI/ cables and desired height of the TV.

Yes but not above the top of the tv. Every bracket will stick up above the mounting part.

If one were to slide tv bracket on the mounting plate too far to right on left, would it fall off the mounting plate?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it comes with hardware. An assortment of screws and spacers to attach the brackets to the TV and attach bolts and inserts for concrete or wood stud walls. If you look hard enough, details are shown in the "User Guide" which includes installation instructions.. I have bought several different mounts from Monoprice, and all have included hardware.

Will this work for a Samsung UN65NU8000? The other mount I purchased, the brackets would not fit on the back of the TV. The screws were too short. Are the screws long enough to fit in the bottom of the 400x400?

BEST ANSWER: We try to offer as many parts as we can with all of our mounts. There are some models of TV and display that are different. The mount will work you may need to go to your local hardware store to get screws that are longer. Take in the screw that fits the threading in the display once you have determined o=how much longer it needs to be 1/4", 1/2".

I have used 1000’s of Monprice #5916 product number mounts on 49”-80”. They will work on the new Sony 85” also. They may say they only go up to 70” but that does not include newer TV’s that are light, but old Plasma style. Other mounts are overpriced if you just need a good tilt mount these work perfect.

This sound bar actually has a built-in 110V-240V power supply. It has a fixed US-style power cord about 4-5 ft long, two prong polarized plug. Know what you mean, was expecting a power brick to fall out of the box when I unpacked it. Surprise! Built-in. Works nicely, too. (Bought 5 more...) Stu

Good morning my name is Chris, I own four of these brackets. I use them to mount to 75 inch Sony 4K flat screen TVs in adjacent rooms. I am guessing you’re 43 inch is lighter than these and this bracket has holes to fit various size TVs on the back which are generally similar. As long as you don’t want the TV to move her swivel, this bracket should be great :-)

Perfect for older heavier plasma TV
Have a 2008 Panasonic Viera 42" plasma which weighs about 80lbs. VESA patters matched up and mounting was easy even doing alone. Feels very sturdy.

One Of The Best Flat/Tilt TV Bracket Ever & Easy To Install.
My favorite go to tv wall mounting bracket for anything 50 to 77 inches. I have installed several hundred TVs on these bracket. They are not low profile but not that far from the wall when not tilted but will give sufficient space to the side to plug in cables when you tilt it.
You could go up to a 83 inch but it would be too far in from the tv sides & certain TVs of that size that are really heavy need a wider bracket that can span 3 metal studs.
For the price it is 5 star but the one drawback from a pro tv installer standpoint is that you can?t lock the screws on the hook if you mount a soundbar close too the bottom of the tv.
The tilt is great but you have to adjust it enough where the tv doesn?t tilt down under its own weight but you don?t want it so tight where you can?t tilt it without applying a lot of pressure.
Tv vesa screws: It comes with sufficient tv hook screws to fit almost every single tv vesa holes & enough spacers to fill out any excess space.
Tv mounting screws: I have never ever used the wall mounting screws that comes with this bracket except on wood studs & they work fine, otherwise I use snap toggles for sheetrock & metal studs or concrete screws.
If this bracket had a spring loaded lock on the tv hooks instead of a strew lock, it would be the best bracket in the market in terms of build quality, accessories, weight capacity, ease of installation & cost.

Been buying Monoprice TV mounts for years as I can't stomach the cost of mounts found at a local electronics store. I've never had an issue with any of my Monoprice mounts and this is no exception. This mount is strong, cheap, and does exactly what I need it to.

Excellent wall mount for a very low price
As always, Monoprice mounts do not disappoint. If you?re looking at the low price and thinking there must be something wrong with it - there isn?t. Good quality basic mount for our 55? TV. And the wider plate was perfect for our needs, since we were not exactly centered on the 16? studs. 5 stars.
