I want to use this instead of a zipper on lawn furniture. Do I have to sew hook side out on one side and loop side out on the other side to get it up close,and be able to open and take off to washb?

BEST ANSWER: I used this product for a lawn furniture application AND to hang my batting cage net from its frame - can’t speak highly enough about it- For my patio furniture, I had seat straps that were failing so I use this product to run it under my cushions and it worked like a champ, also I use it to hang 150 pound batting cage net from a 70 x 14 batting cage, I’ve used it each year for the past three years and it’s brilliant

If you look at the roll in the picture the side that's facing down sticks to the side facing up, so you have to unstick it as you unroll it. So you will have to sew opposite sides facing up if you want them to stick to each other.

I’m not sure about the description but this is simply a plain roll of velcro. I wouldn’t recommend it for lawn furniture. We cut small strips to wrap around data cables.

yes. Its hook on one side and loopnon the other. So yes. This may not be the best choice for that use. Would probably go to michaels and get some snaps and a riveter.

Is this velcro made of nylon or polyester?

BEST ANSWER: I think polyester; it’s not as sticky as regular Velcro, but works for most things.

Not what I expected
Not what I expected. This product is a single strip with hooks on one side and loops on the flip side of the same strip. I needed traditional double-strip with hooks on one strip and loops on totally separate strip. Wish the photo and/or description was more clear about this.

Nice hook and loop tape
Just what I was looking for. Hook and loop tape in a roll where I can choose the size segments I want. Great for organizing cords. The price was right too!

Great "hook and loop" option
This stuff works as it should, is well made and the white color is great. We needed to bundle Cat5e cables along the ceiling and the white allows us to do so without drawing attention to the installation.
I love the fact that you can now get this in colors and highly recommend it.
