If you need a very short VGA to 5 BNC female cable (not as easy to find with the female BNC connectors) this is perfect. Works as expected. Build quality is relatively high.

It does the job just fine, but not the best value for the price. The D-sub cable end is fairly thick in contrast to the BNC ends which are quite thin cables. Though I have not yet used it in an very high bandwidth application, I worry that the thinness of the BNC ends could cause the benefits of running separate BNC cables over long distances (versus VGA) to diminish for long cable runs, BNC coaxial cables have the advantage of better impedance matching and low signal loss, but a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. One other minor complaint I have is that the BNC breakout ends are not labeled for H and V sync I am color-blind and the shade of gray used looks very similar to the green, and also different equipment use different color combinations to label horizontal and vertical sync lines.

PROS: Works fine as a VGA breakout cable or adapter

CONS: BNC coaxial leads a bit thin No H/V sync labels (must match by color)

Very good adapter I'm not to happy with the size of adapter I would like to see different size as we install various display size and projectors.
