I already had some of the same part number and ordered more. I can clearly tell the difference in color. (4 stars) Order enough to fill your patch panel. other than that they did fit nicely and am satisfied. I love the fact I can make location changes by moving keystone for future expansion.
Very easy to use. Punching down the wires as easy as using Cat 5 jacks. Prefer this design over the wire punch downs being on the opposite end of the jack. The different color options allow for color coding of the jack's usage.
Suburb quality, well through engineering with the included wire tie and housing to keep the cable firm in the jack. Labels printed larger than competitors making it easier to read. Doesnt get much easier then these. Top notch!
PROS: Suburb quality, well through engineering with the included wire tie and housing to keep the cable firm in the jack. Labels printed larger than competitors making it easier to read. Doesnt get much easier then these. Top notch!
PROS: Good quality for the price . . . comes with a small nylon zip tie that is looped through 2 holes to provide some holding tension on the cable from getting pulled.
Construction is good-to-very good, but not like the "commercial" ones in office buildings the edges are rounded, the orange color is less intense, body integrity is adequate good for home use.
For home wiring, I recommend a circuit tester, either from Monoprice or elsewhere (I purchased a TrendNet one vis Amazon) with this kind of wiring, you should use a patch panel (and 1-2 ft patch cables don't crimp you own RJ45 connectors !!) the tester will confirm wire contact & proper wire pairing, and save you headaches in troubleshooting.
These jacks also have clear A or B wiring scheme diagrams.
