Are these copper wire cables - oxygen free?
New User U
on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The high-end speaker wire industry markets oxygen-free copper as having enhanced conductivity or other electrical properties that are supposedly advantageous to audio signal transmission. However, conductivity specifications for common C11000 Electrolytic-Tough-Pitch (ETP) and higher-cost C10200 Oxygen-Free (OF) coppers are identical.[12] Much more expensive C10100, a highly refined copper with silver impurities removed and oxygen reduced to 0.0005%, has only a one percent higher conductivity—insignificant in audio applications.[12] OFC is nevertheless sold for both audio and video signals in audio playback systems and home cinema.[12]

Yes, but OF is excelent for one thing... durability... the cable will last more than your life (lifetime), the other, certainly NOT, specially if you leave close to the ocean.

Are these low capacitance wires . I need a 20 foot run for a turntable?
A shopper
on Mar 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't really suggest hooking up a turntable directly with such a long run, regardless of capacitance. Rather, you should hook up to a preamp locally then you can have a long run if needed to your amp. The problem is the very low signal which will not be transmitted differentially meaning you will get noise regardless; the preamp (which you can get just for your turntable providing line-level to your amp or a processor or .receiver) will be less sensitive.

For a length of 20-25 feet, I rather suggest the Coaxial Cable #2683, provided that your turntable has a built-in preamplifier. There wouldn't be any capacitance problem with that kind of cable.
If not, it's not advisable to use such length of wire.

Absolutely Insane Value
Others have commented on the specifications of these genuinely well made cables which rival or exceed a number of expensive, high-end competitors.
Owning and number of other RCA cables from Audioquest and DIY Belden cables at exponentially high prices, and buying these for utility purposes outside of my primary 2 channel system, I am astonished at how well a sub 5 dollar interconnect can perform when used in higher end system.
Rich tonality, punchy dynamics, decent frequency extension and a wide and DEEP soundstage have wowed and astonished me. These actually displaced a DIY Belden 8402 build, which actually displaced a more expensive pair of cables that will remain nameless.
You really need to spend some big money to get an interconnect that is genuinely better than this and would need a truly revealing system to warrant it. Insane value you here.
