Needed to tidy up my audio rack. I have three ampiliers mounted there. These cords are rated at 14 gauge. I would have bought 12 gauge, if offered, but 14 seems to be the heaviest I could find. I purchased short ones to keep the back of the rack "tidy." The cords that were there were 14 gauge and bundled but still looked like a mess. These cords are a welcome change. Thanks for the offering. Monoprice always has a great selection of cords and cables.

Good power cord for my subwoofer. 14ga with thick insulation.

Cord is fine. Packaging uses excessive plastic, is environmentally hostile. So much plastic trash. Why is each cord encased in its own hermetically sealed plastic bag? Such a waste. A cord needs NO BAG, at all. Who cares if a cord gets scuffed? I don't. Then all the cords were shipped together in a larger box filled with inflatable plastic fillers. Ugh. More plastic trash for a landfill. So sad.

Had it been a local retailer, I would have returned it all. I was appalled by all that plastic garbage wrapping.

Monoprice, you can do better. We have only 1 planet.

It is an analog cable, it works to provide AC power.
