We just bought our second batch of Monoprice AC extension cables. This cable is great for all around general use. Would I take it out on a stadium tour? No. Would I use it for everything else just about everything else? Yes! It is what it is for an unbeatable price. I will buy this stuff again and again for our AV rental company inventory. It's black, that is pretty hard to find these days and if you do find it even at low quality it comes at an excessive price compared to the yellow or orange cables from your local home improvement mega store. It coils pretty well and lays flat on the floor again for what it is, it is great stuff.

PROS: Can't beat these for the price. Has a black jacket - try to find that at your local home improvement mega store!



CONS: Jacket is plastic and not the heaviest thing I've ever seen.

The first cable that i ordered was not 10ft in length hence returned and i was sent another cable and this is also not 10ft :-( , very strange why even the second time i have received a cord that is not with the length as stated!

16 AWG 10 ft replaced supplied 18 AWG 5 ft to enable wall mount with in-wall power cord wire configuration without using an extension cord. I chose larger gage to compensate for longer length 'just in case' since cord is mostly hidden, and posed no problem with fitting at the TV connection point, or within the wall through to the AC supply.

PROS: 16 AWG availability provided longer AC connection without using an extension cord

Great cable, I just didn't like my thinner cable so I replaced it with this, necessary? Absolutely not in anyway but my original cable was thinner and shorter and this is better.

PROS: Thick, quality

CONS: Nothing
