Is this OS1 or OS2 fiber?
Joel J
on Jun 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: The difference between OS1 and OS2 fiber optic cables is mainly in cable construction rather than optical fiber specifications. OS1 type cable is predominantly of a tight buffered construction whereas OS2 is a loose tube or blown cable construction where the cable designs applies less stress on the optical fibers. OS1 is more common to be used inside buildings

What are the dimensions of the end connectors on this fiber optic cable?

What is the minimum bend radius for the patch cable? Our patch panel requires a 90° bend and the fit is a little uncomfortable.

fiber review
First time order but appear of good quality. Have not connected yet. Main reason to order is ability to swap 1 end for either crossover or straight thru operation.

Works as advertised
Like all other products here, the price is much less than anywhere else. Ordered a couple dozen fiber patch cables and they all work just fine. Cable comes with test results and losses are reasonable. Patch cables worked just fine on some long spans (30 miles).
