I have this connected to my PS4 and my 75” 4K tv and works great. I have not sent a 4K signal thru it as PS4 signal is 1080p. Will send a 1080p signal to 4K tv with no issues

Will this adapter work with the Ultra Slim HDMI cables? I've read some reviews that the connection on the Ultra Slims are a little loose. Or do I even need the adapter if using the Ultra Slim cables? Mounting my TV and only have about 2 inches from the port to the wall and was trying to avoid bending the cable or putting stress on the port.

I used this adapter on an older heavier cable and it works fine. I also have ultra slim cable on another TV with only about 2” clearance and it works fine without the adapter.

Adapter should be fine. I like to fasten the HDMI cable to the adapter with electrical tape to ensure that connection will never wiggle loose.

I'm not convinced i understand your question, but if you are asking if there is the typical ethernet connector included ala RJ45 than it does not. The adapter is audio and video. Hope I helped

It's just an adapter that prevents strain on the connection or when used in a tight spot. No signal loss or degradation, it can actually save the port on many smart TV's, where if a straight HDMI cable is used, will put pressure on some & cause damage. Guess who pays for that damage.....the customer. I have two of these on my smart TV to prevent any future issues from arising, kind of an insurance policy more than anything else.

Can I bend it the other direction so I can get an angle with the ports facing as they do on product #3733? I don't need a 90 degree but rather something less sharp like 135 degrees.

BEST ANSWER: It will bend up to 90 degrees either direction, but it will bend to the same look as I see in the picture for #3733.

Do the 90° swivels help protect hdmi port damage on ps4s? I'm curious because I have connected to a mounted tv and the tv is always being turned side to side for better viewing so I was wondering if it still causes the hdmi port to get damaged with all the moving around from the tv?

Swivel hdmi adapter
I used this to install a streaming stick on a tv where the hdmi ports are recessed on the side, much cleaner than a short adapter cord . I really didn't want a bunch of Un-sightly wires hanging from the tv, so these work out very well for many situations. I did buy 6 because I have quite a few device's connected to my tv's and pc's

Does not work with PS4 Pro
PS4 Pro picture flickers, sometimes just full static, sometimes bottom or top 3/5s static. At first thought maybe it was my new ups, but after experimenting it is this dongle. Too bad; great concept.

Useful and Good HDMI Adapter
Works well so far.HDMI ports are often awkwardly placed for HDMI cables. This "swivel adapter" reduces stress on HDMI cables.Good price too.

Great to keep on hand when always moving cables.
These work great. Need to order more to have on hand when more geniuses at work redecorate and assume everything is portable and universal.
