Works great. Plug and play.

This is a good cable, but it is impossible to release the latch without a needle nose pliers or cutting away the anti-snag cover.

So far, so good. Using it for a 1Gb connection with no issues so far. Would recommend!

Cable has worked really well so far. I’ve been teleworking for 40 days and got fed up with poor connections with my video sessions and meetings. I ran several speed tests from my workspace on WiFi and using this cable. While it seems to cap out at 100 mbps download speed compared to my best case scenario of over 300mbps on WiFi near the router, it’s a lot better than the 10mbps I was getting in my office on WiFi. Upload improvement made a big difference for video calls too.

It didn’t work when plugged directly into my Lenovo laptop’s Ethernet port for some reason. Thankfully I had bought a USB 3.0 adaptor (also from Monoprice) to use this cable on my MacBook Pro and that works well with the Lenovo too. Perhaps that adaptor is contributing to the speed cap, but I don’t have any way to test that.

Much heavier cable than the Cat 5 cable that came with my 4K security NVR set. Installed 8 cameras, and well worth making the upgrade, plus I ordered different lengths as I needed.
