Although I love Monoprice's patch cables, I must say I really prefer the cat6 cables over the cat5 cables. Pay a few cents more and get the cat6 cable. I had installed hundreds of these cat5 cables over the years but then switched to cat6 and they are just so much easier to use and trace. They don't get tangled as much as these cat5e cables do. Yes the cat6 cables are much thicker but I think its more of a pro most of the time instead of a con. That said, these are some of the best cat5e cables I've used.

I bought this to use in college and it's been very helpful. It's easy to coil up and put in my laptop bag. I like having a purple one so I can distinguish it from other people's cords. It's also been long enough for my needs so far.

PROS: Nice length, I like the color, easy to coil to take it with me.

CONS: Occasionally kinks up a little, but not a big deal.

I love this website. I wish I would have found this a long time ago. The prices are the best and the shipping was good as well. I did not have any problems with my purchase and will return, when I need another cable.

Network cable were thinner that I had thought. But at $2.50 you cant beat the value.
