How is this cable for passing audio?

BEST ANSWER: I use this cable with a video game recorder. It handles my H.264 1080p/30 video and accompanying 16bit stereo audio in realtime for 2 hours at a time with no problem. You'll be fine.

It's a USB cable. It has no effect on the analog audio signal you hear. It works as well as any other USB cable.

Will this cable download data to my Garmin GPS?

BEST ANSWER: I bought it to download data to my TomTom, and it wouldn't work. I haven't tried it with my Garmin, but I checked my manual and it says to use the cable they supplied with the unit. I would try it anyway.

Thanks. I cannot find the cable that came with it (if there was one). I did find a cable but my computer will not recognize the Garmin when I use it so I thought it may be a power only cable that will charge the Garmin but not let it communicate with my computer.

Is it possible to remove the ferrite bead or at least move it further down the wire?

USB to mini 6 foot cable
Needed it to hook a ps3 controller up to a raspberry pie. best buy wanted 15 bucks for a 3 ft cable. Monoprice had a 6 ft cable for less than 2 dollars. Pretty rad deal. Works like a charm. Of course I would recommend the product; I did purchase two.
