Hi, Can this cable be used for instruments or strictly speakers?

BEST ANSWER: We use for speakers and have no trouble. Seems like there could be in an issue if your'e trying to send a mic level signal rather than Line level for too long a distance but for short distances I would think it would work fine

Not a speaker wire. Only usr for line level inputs. Can connect a powered speaket to a mixing board. This is a balanced, or stereo cable, but can still connect an electric guitar or keyboard to an amp or mixing board.

This would NOT be a cable you use for an instrument unless the manufacture explicitly states to use a TRS balanced cable. Instruments typically use TS unbalanced cables.

You can use this as an instrument cable. This cable will work for sending a signal balanced out unbalanced. Most instrument cables just need unbalanced cables but using a balanced cable like this cable won't hurt anything. Your instrument will see it as unbalanced. Do Not send power down this cable. Not a speaker cable. It's an Instrument, headphone, send signal to an active/powered speaker cable.
I'very use them for a electric guitar just fine I don't have the best guitar so idk if the loss of quality is from the wire or my guitar

Yes it can be used for audio signal. It is shielded. I use it from mixer to power amp input.

Can I use this to run from the piano keyboard to the house mixer in the back of the church?

BEST ANSWER: I bought this to connect 1 speaker to another. Works great. As long as the keyboard and the mixer both accept a male 1/4 plug, you will be good to go. If 100' is not enough, just daisy chain a few together (although you will need a male/female string). The cable I bought was male/male.

Yes you can. The sound quality degraded slightly the longer the run. There are a couple of solutions if you run it straight and like the sound, problem solved. Plan B would be using a boost like this: Radial SGI Studio Guitar Interface

Can this be used to connect a 1500 watt speaker to another 1500 watt speaker?

BEST ANSWER: This can be used to send line level audio out from one powered monitor to another. It cannot be used as a speaker cable though, so don't try to use this between an amplifier and a speaker.

This cable is used for powered speakers. I tried to use from an amp to a non-powered speaker and it did not work.

Excellent shielding
This cable has finally solved my problem with audio background hum due to inadequate shielding. I ordered the cable because it was rated as a very high shielding factor, and I was not disappointed.

The cable is nice feels heavy duty. But the connectors on each end keep coming unscrewed. Even after torquing down the connections with a pair of pliers they seem to work Loose as soon as the cable is moved
