BEST ANSWER: I have ordered a number of items from Monoprice all of the items were as described and of good quality. shipping was prompt and the items were well packaged. Its my go to location for cables and electronic needs. I'm contemplating a subwoofer next.

No. It’s a balanced TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) 1/4” plugs - pro audio cable. I use short ones for expression pedals and certain balanced or stereo phone applications. Instrument cables are TS (tip, sleeve) 1/4” plugs.

Instrument cables carry a single channel. The plugs two connections - tip and sleeve (TS) . This is a stereo cable carrying two channels. The plugs make three connections: tip, ring, and sleeve (TRS).

Yes it works just fine for audio. Its a bit long, so dont use it for highly sensitive recording. I use it to connect to PAs from mixers and its great.

no its a balanced 1/4 cable TRS(tip, ring , sleeve ) If you're looking for an instrument cable you want unbalanced TS(tip, sleeve ) 1/4 cable

No. This is a balanced audio cable. An instrument cable is typically TS/TS. not TRS/TRS.

They work -
If you absolutely need a TRS cable, this one works, but Ive had problems with them introducing microphonic interference - not something Ive found in the TS cables - note signal direction on cable (before it becomes illegible).

Excellent!
I ordered 5 cables XLR to TRS and 2 cables TRS to TRS.They came in one week and they are a bit heavy,but I prefer that. They are well built and so far perform great. I am very satified with this purchase.

Great cable!
Very heavy duty cables. Perfect for connecting the speakers from my PA system. 35' gives me plenty of flexibility when setting up. A great value for the money!

Great Cable
I bought the smaller cables to connect my speakers to sub but needed longer cables to move the speakers farther away and they work great. I love how flexible the cables and connectors are.

Great Cables
Great cables, the only issue I had was two or three I ordered were 6-10 inches shorter than the rest of them. This is not a bigdeal, but just something to not, but the cables are great,you can't beat them for the price.

Exactly what I needed
I needed solid cables as a backup for my DJ gear. These cables can handle the decibels I send thru .
