I had to take the 1/4" male end cap off and put a jumper between the ring and the sleeve so my acoustic guitar would work with the cable. The reason is... my guitar uses the ring and sleeve connection to activate the power from my Fishman controls to make connection to the Fishman battery. I am not sure this would make sense unless you own a guitar with a mono output on the guitar. Anyway the cable works great after the modification.

The Best cables I've come across in a long time. Well built. Well thought out. Will definitely be replacing all my old cables with these. Can't review longevity just yet. But I will let you know if/when these cables fail.

Beware phase issues with these adapters" these were wired incorrectly which would make them out of phase... Has this been rectified?
