I have had my same PC and router for over 10 years. My internet speed had increased from 10M to 25M to 100M, I increased my speed to Gigabit (1000M) but it was not much faster on my wired PC. I discovered I still had a Cat 5 cable from PC to router. I used a Cat 5e I had to fix it but ordered these cables to future proof for more speed increases. They are very light and flexible and seem well made. Internet speeds have increased to where you have to pay attention to your cabling.
