I just received this and connected, but when I check my AMD Radeon settings it says "Freesysnc Not Supported" and there is no option to turn it on. Does this not support Freesync?

What determines which input's audio is sent to the analog and optical audio outputs? Is it always the sound going to OUT 1 or OUT 2?

BEST ANSWER: I can't speak to the optical, but the analog audio output us coupled to OUT 1, and be aware that analog audio only transmits when the EDID is set with with 2 channel output. (At least that is my experience.)

Hi can I use this to connect an Xbox Series X, and a PS5 over 4K120Hz via HDMI to my TV while also sending Dolby Atmos to my AV receiver via HDMI (that can’t handle 4K120, but can handle Atmos)? The optical will downmix to 5.1 so I am interested in HDMI outs for both video at 4K120 and audio at Atmos. I will only be using either the PS5 or the XBSX at any time.

Can the splitter handle both HDMI 2.1 and HDMI 2.0 simultaneously? PS5 goes into the device, device outputs 4k@120hz to one HDMI 2.1 output and either 1440p@120hz or 4k@60hz to an HDMI 2.0 output?

Or will it elegantly send a high bandwidth output to the HDMI 2.1 device (4K@120Hz, requires bandwidth of 2.1) and a lower bandwidth output to the HDMI 2.0 device (like 1440p@120Hz)

How does this extract audio? Is it only from the input source on the matrix? I'm trying to extract audio from the TV, while also playing video from the TV at the same time. The AV receiver has 1 output (earc), which will go to the input of the matrix and split between 2 TVs. I need audio from the TV to be played through the AV receiver when watching apps from the TV directly, as well as being able to use the inputs from the receiver. Will I need to bypass the earc and use optical straight to the receiver?

My Anthem receiver will only support one output HDMI. Can I use this for switching between my TV and my Projector from the main HDMI OUT? Will it work with DRM content through a receiver? I also require compatibility Dolby Digital (plus).
